CURRENT SITUATION

From its very outset Organization "Trkulja & Associates" has been, by our joint decision, untied financially or in any other way to any political and/or any other kind of organization, in other words it has been and it still is financed entirely by my humble self, regardless of the most important aspect of our work which is that we are providing all our services free of charge.. Our decision has, and still is based, on our desire to retain the highest level of independence, professionalism, moral and ethical paradigm. Within the area of operation of Organization, this puts us in absolute unique possition to represent our clients - Refugees from the Republic of Croatia, in a most effective and most efficient manner. There have been numerous preassures on Organization "Trkulja & Associates" jet our possition has thus far, as it shall in the future, remained that of "unthuchables". However, as the number of cases that the Organization is handling has surpassed 70,000 (seventy thousand), the resources necessary for optimal proceeding with our work are not at its most efective levels. Thus, I in front of the Refugee Aid Organization "Trkulja & Associates", which has since its inception grown to over 80 (eighty) lawyers, legal assistants and other supporting technical staff, am most humbly appealing to all institutions and individuals who are in a possition to, through their contributions help our uninterrupted operation. It is our oppinion that the current situation is without any doubt unacceptable even from the very lowest acceptable human standards, and us being the only Organization that is offering free legal services (all, including representation in front of the courts within the Republic of Croatia), and for that reason we do stress our urgent need for any and all forms of support.
